Job Title: Ruby on Rails (RoR) Developer

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails developer to join our dynamic team. As a RoR developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality, efficient, and maintainable web applications using the Ruby on Rails framework. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software development principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for building robust and scalable applications.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

3. Implement robust and scalable RESTful APIs.

4. Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.

5. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these issues.

6. Ensure the performance, responsiveness, and security of applications.

7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and team productivity.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails developer.

2. Strong understanding of the Ruby language and Rails framework.

3. Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

4. Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data modeling.

5. Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation.

6. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

7. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

8. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.

2. Knowledge of NoSQL databases.

3. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

4. Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

5. Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

3-4 years of relevant experience as a Ruby on Rails developer.
